You have made the most important decision of your lifetime! It is one that affects your eternal destiny. Becoming a Christian means you now belong to God. He is your Father and you are His child. Being added to this new family also means there are a few things you should know, such as what God expects of you as a member of His family, what you can expect from Him, and  many other benefits of being part of His household. Just as any father would explain these things to a newly adopted child, God does that for us through His inpsired Word, the New Testament. This implies we must find and study tehse things for ourselves, since He has edelivered His Word to us once and for all (Jude 3).
