Let's Not Go Back to the Dark Ages (Pack of 10)

The period of the Judges has been called the “Dark Ages” of Israel. Under Joshua’s leadership, Israel wholly followed God (Joshua 23:10), but after his death, there was no strong central government in Israel. While it was theoretically a theocracy form of government with the Lord God their king, every man did that which was right in his own
eyes (Judges 17:6; 21:25). The tabernacle, the priesthood, and sacrifices were neglected. They rejected Scripture’s authority and justified their own behavior. Everyone did his own thing.
