The devil is a thief. He is not interested in money, jewelry, electronic equipment, or guns. He steals sermons. In the “Parable of the Sower,” Satan is pictured as a bird that comes to eat the seed that fell on the wayside as soon as it was sown (Mark 4:15).
Have you considered that the devil is present every time the gospel is preached? He attends more church services than anybody. He is not interested in learning the truth or in pleasing God, but he is interested in preaching. Actually, he is not so interested in the message as in the reception given to the message.
How can you keep from having the sermon stolen from you? It is much like we would keep other things from being stolen.
