Spiritual Sword: The Best Life V56 No 2

As the theme suggests, this issue of THE SPIRITUAL SWORD emphasizes the “best life”
one can enjoy on this earth. It is the righteous life, the Godly life, the kind of life
which is exalted in the scriptures.

The reader is directed to a discussion of this theme in two parts. The first part is
a discussion of the sinful life. This is the life that the untaught individuals think
would bring them happiness and joy. There may be some joy in sinful living, but it is
temporary and transitional. It does not last forever.

The second section of this issue describes the righteous life—what it is and what
it accomplishes. As editor, I have read every article in this issue. The writers have
done an excellent job with their respective assignments. You are encouraged to
read what they have written and to profit from their research and study. May we
all be directed to the good life and the lasting joy which it brings!
